Body Art Cabaret brings a full evening of classic burlesque, aerial artistry, and hand-built visual spectacle to theaters, lounges, and festival stages across the region — one city at a time.
Body Art Cabaret is an independent ensemble of performers — dancers, aerialists, costumers, and visual artists — who build a new night of theater in every city they play. Rather than touring a single fixed act, the company reworks its show around each venue: a black-box theater gets an intimate hour of classic tease and reveal, while a festival stage might bring aerial rig work, live paint, and a full band.
What stays constant is the craft. Every costume, set piece, and routine is built by hand by the company itself, and every stop on the route gets a show designed specifically for that room.
Each performance is assembled from a rotating repertoire, so no two stops on the route look quite the same.
Tease-and-reveal numbers built on old-world glamour, feathered fans, and hand-sewn costume reveals.
Silks, lyra, and rope work woven into the narrative arc of the show rather than staged as separate stunts.
A live vocalist or small band anchors the room, trading the recorded-track feel for something built for that night.
Body paint, projection, and hand-built set pieces turn the stage itself into part of the performance.
Body Art Cabaret plays a rotating circuit of theaters, lounges, and festival stages. Routes are booked in seasonal legs — reach out to bring the full show, or a scaled-down set, to your venue.
